More Pictures...

Here are a few more shots...we tried earlier today (see last Post) from a coffee shop but the connection was dreadfully slow. I'm in the business center tonight - here's hoping it's better.

It's NOT - it's taken me nearly 45 minutes to upload these - so this will have to hold you over until next time...
(Sorry about the sideways shot - I forgot to rotate it - and it's taking way too long.)

Lisa and Kyle at the Park

Here we are getting our blessing from the Monk at the Buddhist Temple.

Here we are moments after the photos on the famous "Red Couch" at the White Swan Hotel.
(Kyle did the best of all the babies - credit must go to the Raisins - look closely at Kyle's hands!

Here is a shot of Kyle with Ethan and Evan, the othe boys/twins in our travel group.
(Someone in our group called them the 3 Wise Men...it's more like the 3 Wise Guys!!)

Here Kyle entertains a few of his lady-friends (Sophia on your left and Emma on your right), while we were all anxiously awaiting word from Cathy at the consulate. We got the call that our paperwork was all in order at about 11:55AM!!!!

Here's Lisa and Kyle at the Quing Family Academy (I think Lisa may have written about this in another post.)

That's it for now...

Good Morining!
It's seems like Kyle has the whole picture taking thing down! Does he look like he's hamming it up in some of those photos or what?? Too funny!! He is adorable, and that pose on the couch with the 3 boys...cute!
Sounds like where you are now is much better than before. Glad you found another computer than the dark back room of the store... that sounded very creepy.
Thanks so much for all the posts and pics. I find myself checking all the time even though I know the time difference...I just want to see and hear more!! I can't believe you won't be back for another week :(
Meg and the Careys leave today, it was a fun week with them here. You missed seeing that Malissa is a full head taller than me...God knows how much taller she'll be next time, and Justin is not far behind! We had a farewell dinner at Chickies and Petes with Sean and crew last night, then went back to Mom's for board games...FYI don't pick Dad for a partner in Pictionary!! Love ya Pop! The stomach bug spread to Mom and Aunt Mary yesterday. Mom seemed to be doing much better by last night, Aunt Mary still battling.
I still have 2 more days off so I'll be logging on every hour until then!!
Miss you lots!
Rita

Hey Charley, Lisa and Kyle,

Just a quick hello from the Edwards' family back here is Harleysville. We can't to see your new addition and Fozzie and Gonzo can't wait to meet the new "dog walker". You guys have been in my thoughts and prayers since Laura told me that you had left. We will see you when you get back. By the way, it is supposed to be 62 degrees here on Saturday-maybe no winter this year?!? (I am sure it is coming) Take care.

DARLING PICTURES- especially the ones in his new red suit and the "three wise men." It sounds like you're having a wonderful time there, and Kyle seems to be adjusting so well and realizing what a great life he'll have. Comcast is moving SO SLOWLY that it takes half the morning just to get to the blog and pictures.

The question...do you think it would be too hard for Kyle (or you) to have us at your house when you get home??? Why so soon? The decent weather is supposed to only last a few more days and then drop.
(I don't know how this suddenly popped ahead of the Gaby story!! It was originally AFTER.)

I hate to bring up a sad subject, but must because it's leading up to a question for you. (You got the question first.)

We had to send Gaby to kitty heaven this morning. It was very hard, but she was just getting too weak and was unable (even though she was eating a lot and getting vitamins) to get comfortable in any position. All of her muscle and fat were gone. I don't know why, but we decided there would be NO MORE exams or treatments. We wanted to take care of it before she was in a lot of pain.We had a house call vet come, so it made it a little easier for all.

Back to "the question." We'd planned to try and fly in the future, but Spicy is feeling pretty down...she could tell the last several days. We hate to leave her home alone at this time, so thought if the weather lasted until we got there, she could come along.

If this doesn't sound like too much trouble, I need MORE INFORMATION please.

What you said could be found grilling...would it be on top, middle or brick?

Do you have Birkheads and Dave and Sharon's phone number with you? If so, could you please send it to us. I don't have either. We'll wait to hear from you and then send our latest update of plans after hearing.

Love.............

Good Evening,

We loved your call from CHINA. Charlie, you sounded like you were around the corner.
We enjoy the pics, keep them coming. I loved the one of the "three wise guys", it seems like Kyle is much happier now, all the great smiles. Glad to hear you and Lisa are feeling better. Enjoy your trip to the Jade factory.

Murphy is doing fine, eating well and enjoying his long walks with Dad. He had a great time with the kids all weekend...and they had a great time with him. The Careys are home safe...they made it in a little over 2 hours.

I check the blog several times a day and when we checked this evening, I was sorry to read about Noel and Joannes pet Gaby. I am sure it was very hard.

Enjoy your trip tomorrow. Talk to you later.

Miss you all!

Hello Lisa, Charlie and Kyle,

It's 2:30 A.M. here, and I thought I'd check in since I'm up anyway. The 1st baby (Luke) woke up at 1:00 and didn't want to back down, then baby #2,("Bubblez"), was awake downstairs "crying" as well! So, I thought I'd write as I hold him. I can't wait for both Kyle and Luke to meet and now Bubblez and Murphy, too! You are all sure on an adventure! The worm/mouse/beetle incident would have done me in! I keep thinking what a great diet that would be for me! Kyle seems so much happier in each photo-we can all really tell the adjustment/transformation that has taken place. He is a very lucky little boy to have both of you as his new Mom & Dad! Take care....Avery
